A sailing crew has to work effectively together to make a yacht sail with maximum efficiency, stay on the course, and win the competition.

 

During our team building regattas the goal is enhancing a team's ability to:

• F.O.C.U.S - Follow One Course Until Successful
• Communicate effectively
• Work together as a capable, confident team
• Resolve conflicts

With very effective team building facilitators and the environment of a yacht in competitive events, the surroundings create situations for many object lessons that demand perfection in working together as a effective team. Every member of the team and every piece of equipment on the yachts are necessary to navigate at maximum efficiency. When alone each person, just as each piece of equipment of the yacht, can do very little, or even nothing, efficiently, nor effectively, much less successfully!

It is the same for a business, corporation, company, and endeavor, as it is for the crew navigating a yacht in a competitive event; everyone is equally important, as no one can produce as effectively alone as they can as a member of an efficient team.
